Shannon is arguably the most athletic player on our team. He is a very coachable
kid that makes his present known defensively. He is a very quick offensive player
who can penetrate and create his own shot. Shannon has spring like legs, which allows him
to be a great consistent rebounder. He has a nice overall offensive game inside
15 feet. Shannon has great offensive footwork in the post. He is very active on defensive
and a very positive team player. Shannon has worked
hard in the winter months as he was a major contributor on his high school team. Late last year, Shannon
lost his starting spot, but this year I see him positively competing for his place in the rotation.
Weakness
Lack
aggressiveness at times.
Court
awareness.
He must
develop the skill to extend his shot beyond the 3 point arch.
Has a
tendency to force things offensively.
Ball
handling could use polishing.
Free
throws at 60%.
G.P A
needs to improve.
Shannon needs to be patient and play with-in the
flow of the game.
