Jake
has improved tremendously over the winter months. He is a very coachable, hard working kid. Jake is a true definition of a
post player. He blocks shots and doesn’t mind getting physical, and despite his size, he is a consistent mid range jump
shooter that plays with passion and intensity on both ends of the floor. He is a strong offensive player that will surprise
defenders with his foot work. At time he has the ability to play on the wing and knock down the 3 point shot. Jake is
more athletic then he appears. He has the ability to rise above the rim and make good things happened for our team. Due to
his long arms he plays at a solid 6’9” size. Jake is a great kid that has a lot of potential.
Weakness
Ball handling must improve.
Needs to learn how to pass out of double teams.
Has the habit of dribbling the ball in the paint, which causes turnovers.
Needs to be more patient on defense, as so often he gets into foul trouble.
