Coaches Corner

Brandon is the second youngest member of our 16u squad.  He has very good court vision. Brandon has the ability to control games and at times, take them over. He can handle the ball well and is known as a pretty good shooter.  Big time potential for a young guard. Makes good decisions, and has a high basketball I.Q. Very athletic, smart, and competitive.  Growth may not be complete. He has very long arms, which allows him to be a great zone defender. Brandon is the true definition of a point guard. He attacks the rim and finishes successfully in traffic going right or left. Brandon plays best in zone defense sets. He is a great passing guard that looks to get others involved first, and has the rare ability to push his team mates to play better. Brandon works best offensively in an up-tempo game. If he continues to improve, he has a great chance to be a solid point guard on the next level.
